In 2022, the Honduran beef industry was cash-strapped, and global commodity prices were rising.

Seeing an opportunity, our company invested in a cattle ranching operation that was struggling financially.  

 

Our business model was set to test the profitability of Honduran beef cattle production and the results proved it was a worth while investment.

 

Formally establishing D y D Investments S.A. de C.V. in 2024.

American Investors visit Cattle Operation

​The founders, born into a Honduran family business in meat distribution since 1969, witnessed firsthand the market crash in the local economy per rising inflation and supply chain failures occurring per the COVID-19 crisis.

 

Small to mid-size cattle ranchers were hit hardest, as they were lacking access to competitive domestic capital that allowed them to quench the rising costs, and lacked organization to sell their commodities efficiently in the domestic and international markets.

 

Situation, which inspired the founders to explore a different outlook to unlock Honduras beef cattle production potential.
